Pasquale Braione

Pasquale Braione is environmental engineer with about 20 years’ experience in the wind sector. He began his professional career in Vestas in 2004, as quality engineer in the Blade facility in Taranto - South of Italy. In 2007 he joined the Service unit, as Blade Operation Engineer, and from 2009 managing an expert global team involved in composite material repair, with a special focus on developing in collaboration with company R&D new repair solutions and new materials retrofit for improving wind turbine performance.

Since 2020 he has been appointed as Head of Operation Engineering in the Mediterranean region and from 2022 leading a global team of about 300 people, located across the globe, in AME, LATAM, NCE, MED and APAC regions, by ensuring operational excellence and reliability at best cost.  Main Target is to establish a scalable repair footprint and contribute to the Zero Waste Model by supporting Vestas Global Circular Economy Strategy.
