Jose Israel Mejia

Jose Mejia is director of engineering at Independent Wind Solutions, working to drive the success of the blade division as a new leader in the wind industry. Before IWS Jose spent six years focused on all aspects of a successful blade department such as hiring, training, quality/engineering, and operations. In that time his focus was dedicated to building efficient and beneficial relationships with clients, supplier, and technicians. The end result of has been long term working relationships that have improved communication, quality, and productivity. Jose’s engineering/operational background comes from his education as mechanical engineer from the University of Houston and time spent in industrial construction work environments.
