Dhanushkodi Mariappan

Dhanush Mariappan is a Technology Manager at GE Vernova Advanced Research Center and he leads a team of mechanical engineers working on research programs in advanced manufacturing technologies to enable the energy transition. Dhanush received his undergraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras; and Masters and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is a co-author/co-inventor in 10 journal articles, 18 conference proceedings, 15 disclosures/patents. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and American Society of Precision Engineering (ASPE). He is the recipient of the MIT Presidential Fellowship and is an invited participant in the Frontiers of Engineering Symposia (2008, 2022) of the US National Academy of Engineering.
