Craig Guthrie

Craig Guthrie is Director of Blade Services at Takkion, based out of the Denver, CO area. He oversees a team of over 90 personnel, consisting of 80 blade technicians and an experienced support team of field supervisors, blade engineers, composites trainers and sourcing/warehousing management. The Takkion blade services group operates all over the US and is responsible for nearly 1000 blade repairs and other blade service offerings, each year. Craig started his career in composites in 2000, as an apprentice at a composite aircraft company in Tehachapi, CA. He transitioned to wind energy in 2003, as a traveling blade technician for GE Wind, working his way up to composites team lead and technical advisor. In 2009, he co-founded Performance Composites Field Service (PCFS), a wind blade service company, and served as a managing partner for 12 years. In 2020 PCFS was acquired, ultimately becoming part of the Takkion group where he continues to work with and grow the same core team.
